What is Right Ahead of India in 2019?

This is a review of what we have in front of us in 2019 against the backdrop of the upcoming elections, the upcoming Brexit and Trump's one-man rule.

The upcoming Lok Sabha elections in 2019 are an important milestone for India. For Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who once thought it was easy to win the 2019 elections, now it has become a four-way contest. It is also dangerous to predict any outcome in the country after the BJP suffered a setback in the recent assembly elections. It seems that Prime Minister Modi has been preparing for the 2019 elections since the beginning of 2018.

The Prime Minister has planned to inaugurate various works from new tunnels, new bridges, huge statues, airports, chocolate factories, hospitals, etc. to the under-built expressways and parts of the Delhi Metro. According to some reports, from January 2019, all the necessary activities will be carried out for the elections.

BJP's strange dilemma:

In 2014, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had launched a policy of aggressively attacking the then leadership to get out of the country's predicament. Since then till today BJP has been implementing the same policy again and again. So people are really wondering, is Jawaharlal Nehru the only one responsible for the plight of the country? One of Modi's many skills is his rhetoric. His skills were evident until the denomination decision. After that, however, the poetry of Modi's speeches began to fade.

At present, no government policy can assure farmers that 'everything is albel'. Whether it is a crop insurance scheme, a minimum basic price issue or a national rural livelihood campaign, people are beginning to feel that none of these policies will solve the problems of farmers. The real challenge is to show people a new dream in such a situation.

For this, it is necessary to complete the work undertaken by Modi. But today, this government seems to be caught between the good and the bad.

It is difficult to deny the fact that the Modi-government has failed to make the necessary efforts to transform India into a modern and prosperous country. Instead, the tendency to unite people on the basis of caste, creed and alternative 'vocabulary' has created a dangerous situation in the country.

Trump and the trade war:

Another important event to note in 2019 is the trade war between the US and China. The deadline set by the two countries for discussion on the issue at the G20 summit in December expires on March 1. But how likely is it that these two countries will make a final decision? Perhaps they have expanded their reach through Chinese trade concessions.

Now the US and China are less likely to have the same strained relations as before. Seeing China's growing development in various fields, the US is confident that Beijing will soon be ready to overtake the US and become the world's first country. Given China's economic growth, the country could emerge as one of the world's leading economies, but the United States will still maintain its position as a major military power. This is because of the geographical location of the United States, as well as the triple spending of the United States on its defense account by China.

Another important development is the turmoil in Trump's presidency. According to many experts, US President Donald Trump will now step up his one-man rule. They will impose the same policies on themselves. Russia's so-called interference in the US election after the Mलरller Investigation and Trump's alleged interference in the polls could change that.

But so far there have been no signs of the Republican Party ousting Trump. So unless this party changes its attitude, we will see the same role of the United States in 2019.

England towards Brexit

The fourth important geopolitical event in 2019 is the withdrawal of England from the European Union or 'Brexit', which will take place in March 2019.

Will England abide by the agreement to leave the European Union? In fact, many more possibilities may arise, but now that British politics has become so complicated, no one seems eager to speculate. Although many experts have made good and bad predictions about England's exit from the European Union, the UK economy is still doing well.

England or Great Britain is the fifth largest economy in the world. It is said that it could overtake Germany in the coming decade to become the largest economy in Europe. As a member of the United Nations Security Council, Britain has its own powers. Also, working in a group of 28 members of the European Union has further strengthened Britain's power and influence.

Brexit may close one-way doors for Britain, but it will also open up new opportunities for Britain to expand ties with the United States and China.
