Will Indo-Pak relations take a new turn after Pulwama attack? To find the answer to this question, one has to understand the calculations of the United States, China, France and Saudi Arabia.

After the Pulwama attack, India reiterated its demand that the United Nations declare Jaish-e-Mohammed a terrorist and declare Masood Azhar, the leader of Jaish, an international terrorist. France has supported India's demand. So will India-Pakistan relations take a new turn after the Pulwama attack? Such a question arises.
France and China are among the five founding members of the UN Security Council. Three times after the 2009 Mumbai attacks, the Security Council passed a resolution declaring Jaish-e-Mohammed a terrorist. There are reasons why China is soft on Pakistan. China is investing рда 60 billion in Pakistan. Both China and Pakistan want to maintain good relations. The world is watching what China does after Pulwama.
Although Jaish-e-Mahmand claimed responsibility for the Pulwama incident, Pakistan declared that Pulwama had nothing to do with Pakistan. It was only after the Pulwama incident that Saudi prince Mohammed bin Salman arrived in Islamabad. He also refused to take notice of Pulwama. Bin Salman came to India for a few hours and left for China with these questions.
After bin Salman returned to Riyadh from China, the Chinese government declared Jaish-e-Mohammed a terrorist. That is, China changed its role. But only half. Masood Azhar was not declared a terrorist. Did any talks take place between Bin Salman and the Chinese rulers? China is also suffering from terrorists in Pakistan.
The number of Muslims in China's Uyghur province is significant. The clerics from Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are uplifting the Muslims there. China suffered that; However, neither Pakistan nor Saudi Arabia has ever commented on the matter. China may not have felt the need to do so because it knows how to put pressure on the Uighurs. No one is pampered in China, human rights and other things do not work there. If it makes too much trouble, the Chinese army will beat the troublemakers. So the Uyghur issue does not let China get out of hand. But China may have used the Pulwama case to appease it in time. The right message went to Pakistan and the Saudis understood that it would be better if they covered the clerics.
Following the announcement of China, Pakistan took over the headquarters of Jaish-e-Mohammed. So Pakistan can say that we have taken a step. But such steps do not make sense. What difference does it make to take over headquarters? Tomorrow, Pakistan will declare Jaish illegal and arrest Masood Azhar. This is what happened back then. As the organization became illegal, Jaish people opened shops under different names. Masood Azhar will remain in custody for a few days, but will return to normal. Many people with the stamp of terrorism are roaming in happy Pakistan, even though the US has placed a reward of millions of dollars on their veins. The reason is obvious. Jaish-e-Mahmand is an organization raised and nurtured by ISI. The ISI and the Pakistani military need Jaish as a non-state operative to harass India.
US President Trump's reaction to China's pushing Pakistan's boat into the fray came to light. Trump said tensions between India and Pakistan have become serious. India is trying to take some drastic action. "Both countries should try to clear the air. We are going to talk to the president of Pakistan," Trump told reporters. Trump did not talk about Pulwama.
There is an endless feud between India and Pakistan. The Prime Ministers of both the countries speak the language of peaceful coexistence, rasgulle and biryani are played with each other but the fight never ends. Kashmir is the main point of hostility. There is a fear in the Pakistani army. The army fears that India will swallow us up and tear us to pieces. It is Pakistan's business to raise the issue of Kashmir and boil weapons and money from Islamic and allied countries. The army and the government fear that if the Kashmir issue is resolved, the flow of money will stop. Therefore, Pakistan wants to keep the Kashmir issue alive by doing anything.
No matter how much a cat drinks milk with its eyes closed, the world can see it. The US and China understand Pakistan's behavior. The United States knows that the group that organized the 9/11 attacks was moving from Pakistan. Eventually, bin Laden was also found in Pakistan. In the careers of Clinton, Bush and Obama, the US has said a lot to Pakistan. Hillary Clinton, on the other hand, held a press conference during her visit to Pakistan and criticized the Pakistani government's lies. Pakistan is constantly criticized in the US Congress, and resolutions are passed to stop aid to Pakistan. Still, the US clings to Pakistan.
The US feels that Pakistan is a good place to maintain its dominance in Asia and Central Asia. In the absence of democracy in Pakistan, the US experience is that the land can be used at its convenience. With India being a democracy, it is difficult to wrap up the government. Besides, in India, a lot of people have to feed themselves, and in Pakistan, the question arises as to whether politics and the few in the army are holding hands. The US military establishment is not ready to keep Pakistan on edge as this US understanding still remains. Trump wants to talk to Imran Khan, not stop military aid to Pakistan. One can understand a lot from this.
China, the US and Saudi Arabia are concerned about Pakistan, not India. But independently we are strong, we are playing, they want to use Pakistan to show their foreign policy, to maintain their image. They are not involved in what happens to Pakistan independently, how relations between India and Pakistan should be.
Why did Bin Sultan visit Pakistan, India and China? Did they want to improve India-Pakistan relations or do something else? Bin Salman's family is aiming for the top spot in their own country. They want to get the clothes of power from Salman, leaving behind other princes. With that in mind, he took strong steps in the country's economic and foreign policy. He is accused of imprisoning his brothers in the contest and killing journalist Khashoggi. His method of seizing power is not to move cautiously, but to act boldly.
Allies began to distance themselves from bin Salman. He traveled abroad to show that we are important in such a situation. But even there, they did not get along well. When he went to Tunisia, there were protests against him, with Khashoggi's sword-wielding protesters dancing in front of bin Salman. He traveled to Europe, USA, etc., as it was like blowing mud with his own hands, so he embarked on a Pakistan-India-China tour. Bin Salman traveled to all three countries, beating Kandora and Bisht to death, promising 20 billion in aid. But they could not remove the stain of Areravi. He could not create the image of a serious politician, a thinking politician, a visionary politician.
Bin Sultan has not been able to make any improvements in India-Pakistan relations. There has not been much change beyond Saudi Arabia, China and the United States making minor statements about terrorism and Pakistan. Soon the dust will settle and Pakistan's bullock cart will enter Chakori.
