US President Donald Trump is under investigation for allegedly implicating other countries in the US election. This drama of impeachment in United States is moulding a new twist to the world politics. The testimony of Bill Taylor, the US ambassador to Ukraine, could be a key consideration in the impeachment process. Taylor recently testified before the impeachment committee of the US Congress, on how Trump pressured the Ukrainian president for his personal political interests.

The US Congress has approved $600 million in aid to Ukraine. This was to help Ukraine, a breakaway region of Russia, maintain its independence and withstand Russian pressure. This was also supported by democratic allies in Europe. But, Trump is said to have withheld the above help for personal gain, this creating a bigger stir in world politics.

The new story is getting developed, Donald Trump demanded to open the investigation of Joe Biden's son, Jo Biden who is also Trump's potential opponent in the 2020 presidential election. Trump demands the investigation report and information be given to him to defame Joe Biden in US election 2020. Donald Trump's phone conversation with Ukrainian President Zelensky has become a point of controversy and has reached the tipping point. Trump allegedly told Zelensky that only if Zelensky accepts his demands, then only he would meet with him and receive the approved $600 million in aid from the US Congress. However, Trump denied the above mentioned allegations and any phone conversation with Ukrainian President Zelensky.

Maybe Donald Trump has ran out of luck, because the whistleblowers in the US government found and started releasing evidence in a series. During Taylor's six-hour testimony, he described how Trump's parallel system was operating, how he had entrusted the case to his private attorney Giuliani, and how he had repeatedly protested against this improper procedure.

All of these events suggests that Trump was using US government money for his personal election campaign, this void the American election law. But the case does not stop there, Trump used his private system to do this illegal business. Implemented an alternative mechanism. The law stipulates that the matter should be decided by the government while discussing with the foreign head, and that the decision should be implemented by various government officials. But putting that arrangement aside, Trump brought in his private lawyer, Juliani. He told the Ukrainian president that he should talk to Juliani about the matter.

Over the past month, there has been a flurry of evidence about the pressure on Ukraine. Taylor's testimony is the most reliable evidence. So the impeachment trap seems to be getting tighter and tighter around Trump's neck. Republicans are in a dilemma, not Trump but impeachment.

Republican Party, the leftist of the US has a majority in the Senate, the long process of impeachment requires the support of both houses. Therefore, an impeachment cannot take place unless the impeachment is supported by the Republican Party itself. But Republican leaders are slowly starting to grumble. He fears Trump's act  could be a problem for him in his Senate and congressional elections. The fact that Trump sought Putin's help in the 2016 election, along with Ukraine, is a parallel inquiry by the Mueller Committee. What dislikes the American people is Trump's attempt to link up with Russia. Ironically the Republican Conservative Party has traditionally been anti-Russian. Conservative voters do not like Trump taking Putin's help and handing over the US election to Putin-Russia. So there is volatility among Republican voters.

Another hiccup, the American establishment is also in trouble, i.e. the White House, the CIA, the Defense Department, the State Department. All these four departments together manage the overall affairs of the United States. Usually, the President of the United States works with all these four departments. The establishment of America follows a tradition of not associating with communists, keeping Russia and China at a distance, maintaining relations with Europe-UK, and doing European politics by staying with the partner countries in the NATO agreement. Trump does not come from an such political establishment, nor has he ever worked with the establishment in the state or in Washington. On the contrary, they are angry with the establishment. In his campaign, he mentioned that he will actively engage into campaign to to destroy the establishment, to certain point this is a novel cause.

The Establishment was already worried by Trump's role. When FBI Director James Comey first went to meet Trump after he became president, he was confused about what to say to him, what to tell him. Because Trump knew nothing about the workings of the FBI, the CIA, and so on. From the day he became president, Trump has been making decisions independently of the State Department, the Army Department, and the CIA. Neither the White House nor the military knew when Trump made the crucial decision to invite Taliban leaders for a personal visit, however later on he cancel it. Trump openly mentioned when Tillerson was Secretary of State that foreign ministers damn knew nothing.

How will the establishment accept that America is becoming isolated due to Trump's overall behavior? For the past three years, Trump has been makes decisions and that the establishment cannot oppose him, rather sometimes they tacitly acquiesce. That is why it is said that the information about Trump's behavior has started to be revealed from various departments of the government to formally materialise the impeachment.

Republicans ideally don't want to hurt the establishment if they want to govern. Giuliani has got a taste of what happens when the establishment is upset. Two of his fellow lawyers have been jailed for violating election laws. That's a lesson for the people around Trump. Given the way Trump has treated James Comey, Mueller, Mattis, etc., it is clear that various departments of the government will put Trump into trouble.

In the Watergate case, Nixon abused government machinery or establishment. As a result the government machinery was also heavily exposed by Nixons act. If the impeachment process had taken longer, many people would have been exposed. To avoid that, the Establishment and Republican leaders pressured Nixon to resign. It saved the reputation of many involved in the Watergate case.

Trump's impeachment has reached almost the same tipping point. Trump's language over a phone call to the President of Ukraine will likely be key consideration in the issue. It's all about talking on the phone, it  may also be ruled out to some point, it will be safe to say that nothing really happened. Other people are talking about Trump, Trump has not signed any documents anywhere, etc. Advocates will argue. But while all this is going on, many cronies will come out and the people in the government-party will be exposed. Neither the Establishment nor the party can afford it.

So now there will be pressure on Trump from the party itself. But there is a difference between Nixon and Trump. Nixon was a party man and loyal to party. Trump is an outsider in the Republican tent. Therefore, it is very likely that Trump may not succumb to the pressure. Thus, the impeachment process will continue, parallel the process of elections will also begin. It remains to be seen how the Republican Party will make the move. Another option would be not to nominate Trump as Presidential candidate in upcoming US election. However a possibility of Donald Trump going for presidential candidate as independent candidate cannot be denied. If that happens, there will be a election battle between the candidates of the Democratic Party, the Republican Party and Trump as an independent candidate. But, apart from George Washington, no independent candidate has been president in the history of America.

Based on the Constitution, the various governing bodies, the administration of affairs, etc .; The American people are currently experiencing an unprecedented experience in which the President can act arbitrarily. That shouldn't happen again, at least not after the next election.
