Will the corridor leading to Kartarpur Gurdwara be a new path of Indo-Pak friendship or will it be the beginning of a new conspiracy?

The Samadhi of Nanakdev, the first Guru of the Sikh community, is located in present day Pakistan. It is about four and a half kilometers from the Indian border. Indian Sikhs visit this holy place through binoculars from the border on the dam. The shrine will now be open to Indian devotees. Will the corridor leading to Kartarpur Gurdwara be a new path of Indo-Pak friendship or will it be the beginning of a new conspiracy? This new question is being asked now.

The announcement of this Kartarpur Corridor by Pakistan should be understood. In Jammu and Kashmir, there have been clashes with militants at seven places during this period. There have been ten terrorist attacks and one sniper attack . A total of 23 militants have been nabbed by the security forces in all these incidents . One of them was Naved Jat of Lashkar-e-Toiba, who killed journalist Shujaat Bukhari.

In the midst of all this fuss, the former Prime Minister of Norway went to Srinagar to meet the Hurriyat delegation and then left for Islamabad. Most of them have some kind of message with them. Around this time, the commemoration day of the 2008 terrorist attacks on Mumbai came. The speeches that evening may not have gone off the air, but at the same time, the news of Kartarper Sahib Corridor caught everyone's eye.

Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan had just inaugurated the Kartarpur Sahib corridor a few weeks ago. But he had a cold response from India. Suddenly, the Indian government announced that the cornerstone of the corridor would be laid on the Indian border on November 26, and the Pakistani government would launch the work on November 28 within their borders. However, editorials in various media and newspapers began to cover the subject in various ways. What is the new policy of the government of Pakistan?

As the shrine, which was consecrated by Guru Nanak Dev, will be open to the Sikh community, there was a melody of how much the Pakistani government loves Sikhs. However, it should not be forgotten that at the same time, the Pakistani government showed its closeness to the Khalistan movement by inviting Khalistani leader Gopal Singh Chawla to the inauguration function. On the other hand, the government is not talking about Hafiz Saeed, who is sitting in Lahore and indulging in terrorist activities at the behest of the Pakistani government.

In a matter of hours, the Pakistani government has created an image of itself in Punjab and in the Sikh community all over the world, how kind and generous we are. But at the same time, he told the Indian government and the Khalistani agitators that we support the Khalistani movement.

Navjyot Singh Sidhu had won a respectable place in the entire program, but the two ministers who had gone as representatives of the Indian government were nowhere to be seen.

Your role in this case was so confusing that it could be detrimental to you. In all this fervor, we have forgotten the terrorist attack of 26th November and also the sacrifices of the civilians and the police. Police Constable Tukaram Ombale would not have taken Kasab alive, regardless of his life, and if the terrorist had been found dead, the Pakistani hand behind the attack would never have come to light. Similarly, we have forgotten the sacrifice of Lance Naik Nazir Ahmed Wani who was martyred while openly challenging the militants in Kashmir.

However, Navjyot Singh Sidhu goes to Pakistan and Punjab Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh expresses his displeasure and says, "This is a personal visit of Sidhu." His words say a lot. The Punjab Chief Minister seems to be worried about what will happen next and how it could affect Punjab and India. Because it is a fact that Pakistan has given sanctuary to many pro-Khalistan militants.

Just a few days ago, a terrorist attack was carried out by the Khalistanis in Amritsar. In which three people have been killed unnecessarily. Amarinder Singh has also expressed fears that Kashmiri militants are now spreading their wings in Punjab via Jammu and Kashmir. The Punjab chief minister is angry that Sidhu should embrace the Pakistani army chief who has so far killed thousands of Indians.

Despite this situation, all these events took place, speeches were made and now the inauguration program of this corridor from Kartarpur Sahib Gurudwara to Dera Baba Nanak has been completed.

But what is going to be achieved through all this?

The experience in Indo-Pak relations over the last several years shows that the unexpected is always happening here and there is no real possibility of a change of heart for Pakistan. In fact, this strategy should have been devised to reveal the true colors of Pakistan and the evidence of how they have supported anti-India extremist ideologies. However, it is clear that there is some diplomatic motive between the two countries. But the current government of India and the Delhi-based authorities who are concerned about the country's security must have thought so. In this case, the two roles are not exactly the same. It's easy to think that this is a deliberate game. What should be our role in this mess?

Otherwise, it will be a humorous subplot like Shakespeare's play which will make you forget for a while the horrible drama that has been going on for a long time between India and Pakistan. In other words, Sidhu, who has work experience in Kapil Sharma show, is not playing the role of a clown in this sub-story, is he?

All in all, this whole affair is dangerous and meaningless. However, there are fears that India may not fall into the trap it has set so carefully as it has not learned a lesson from Pakistan's actions to date. However, we hope that you have decided to play this game after examining all these possibilities.

We must also remember the core of the original concept of Pakistan. The country was created in the name of Islam, and since then, Islamic extremism has reached such a height that it is now riding on the wrists of its people. Similarly, another important feature of this country is its enmity with India. In order for the Pakistani leadership to maintain its dominance, the people there have to constantly dream that one day we will conquer India. We Indians will not play any positive role in our relations with this country and we will not be under any illusions.
